On August 17th Alayna turned 4! I can't believe my baby girl is already 4 years old. This year she was lucky enough to get 2 parties! The first one was on the 16th at my parents cottage. And yes, it was yet another princess party for the third time!
My Mom's side of the family all came up to help us celebrate.
And my sister flew in from upstate NY to be there as well.
Alayna got some really great gifts.
But her favorite thing was this card, when you open it Cinderella wishes you a Happy Birthday!
It was from Cousin Roz.
We had tacos for lunch and then a Dairy Queen princess cake.
It was a great day and a lot of fun. Thank you to all the family for coming up for it.
The next day was Alayna's actual birthday and we drove back in to Milwaukee for party #2.
Again we had family and some friends come over for the party, and lots of presents to open.
She got this great Tinker Bell dress and hair tie, but I couldn't get her to stand still long enough to get a good picture, so this is the best I could do.
She was so excited to play with all her new things she couldn't be bothered with pictures.
While I got the cake ready Grandpa entertained the kids with a good old fashioned tickle game.
And then we ended the party with another Dairy Queen princess cake!
Thank you to all the family and friends who were able to help us celebrate Alayna's birthday. My kids are so blessed to have so many people who love them.
