Disney Part 8 - Old Friends

An added bonus of this trip was that we were going to get to see our old friends Russ and Suzanne with their 3 children. They live in Tampa about an hour and a half from Disney World. We met them while we were stationed in Turkey when we were all young and child free and then we were in Virginia together when the kids started to arrive. We used to go to dinner and need a table for 4 and now when we make a dinner reservation there are 9 of us! How did that happen?? Anyways we were so happy they agreed to make the trip to see us. We decided to meet at Downtown Disney and have dinner at the Rain Forest Cafe. We got there first so we passed the time at the Lego Store,

Russ and Suzanne have 3 beautiful children. Alexa is the oldest, Megan in the middle and then baby Zach who is not such a baby any more!

Calvin and Zach played together so nicely.

And Alexa and Alayna became fast friends. Alexa just joined Daisys (It is part of the girl scouts) and taught Alayna a new song. Here they are performing it:

After dinner we walked around a bit and the kids found a place where if they stood there, Stitch from Lilo and Stitch would "spit" on them. They thought it was great fun even though they were already getting wet by the little rain we were getting.

Oh the joy of being a child!
We had such a nice time, it was too short, but we were thankful for the time we had. Thank you so much guys for coming to see us! It was so great to see you again.
